Mark Appel, a Member of ArbDB Chambers, is a Conflict Management Consultant, Mediator and Arbitrator.
Mark’s focus, since 2016, has been on dispute avoidance, conflict management and mediated systems and solutions for sustainable energy, renewables, excavation and infrastructure projects.
Mark was one of the originators of the CARO OHADAC Conflict Management Committee process which draws on and advances the dispute avoidance and adjudication board concept, particularly through elevating the early and active involvement of community stakeholders.
Mark accepts appointments as arbitrator, mediator and dispute avoidance and adjudication board member.
