We are always pleased to speak to someone about becoming a member of ArbDB Chambers, especially if they have a substantial existing practice as a “third party” neutral.

Whilst we do not guarantee work, we can assist with the process of moving from acting as counsel, consulting engineer or expert to full time third party neutral, as arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator, including assisting with introduction to institutions, lawyers and potential parties.

 

We have corporate membership of various relevant institutions, including the ICC UK, SCMA and LCIA. We also have access to various ADR venues around the world, as we have an IACA Passport through our involvement with the International Dispute Resolution Centre, at St Paul’s London.

You do not need to be a lawyer, as we at ArbDB Chambers are a broad church, and have Members who are engineers, surveyors, HR professional, as well as lawyers.

You would probably need to have a secondary qualification or accreditation, such as FCIArb, or Accreditation as a Mediator.
