ArbDB Chambers In Space
19 December 2018
ArbDB Chambers Members don’t just talk about high-tech in the abstract. Our Arbitrators, Mediators and Adjudicators have real-life, complex engineering experience and can handle the most technical of challenges.
ArbDB Chambers Member, Dr Chris McArdle, has been commissioned to oversee electronics and software development for an experiment for the International Space Station (the ISS). The project will study the effects of zero gravity on the behaviour of human muscle, an important topic for both astronauts while in space and for the aging population on earth, where muscle wasting is a major contributor to the aging process. The experiment, sponsored by the UK Space Agency, is being performed by a multi-disciplinary team from the University of Liverpool.
