ArbDB Chambers Members Achieve Distinction In Singapore

ArbDB Chambers Member, Michael Cover, has been admitted as a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb). The SIArb is an independent body established in 1981 as a group with a common interest in arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. SIArb has a particular focus on training and professional development and works closely with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

In addition, fellow ArbDB Chambers Member, Paul Rose, like Michael, is a Certified Mediator with the Singapore International Institute (SIMI).

ArbDB Chamber Chairman, Tony Marks, commented: “We are delighted that Michael has become a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. This and our having two SIMI-Certified Mediators shows our interest in and commitment to the region. This builds on our office in Kuala Lumpur, working closely with what is now the Asian International Arbitration Centre there. Several of our Members, including John Wright, George Grant and Paul Rose and our Clerk, Martin Poulter, will be travelling to Kuala Lumpur from 5-7 May 2018 for Asia ADR Week and John will also be visiting Singapore to strengthen our ties there”
