Julia Sullivan tutors at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators “Applied Arbitration for Fellows” 14 and 15 March 2026

ArbDB Chambers Member and International Arbitrator and Mediator, Julia Sullivan, is one of the Tutors and part of the distinguished Faculty on this Course. More information here.


Julia will be bringing to bear her substantial experience and expertise in international arbitration for the delegates on this Course, who are Fellows of the CIArb and who are looking to further develop their skills and work to begin being appointed as arbitrators.


Spotlight on Julia Sullivan


Julia Sullivan is a Member of ArbDB Chambers and is a US Lawyer, an English Solicitor and international arbitrator, with particular focus on energy, infrastructure and finance.


Julia is an experienced International Arbitrator, having received more than 140 appointments as Tribunal Chair, Tribunal Member, Emergency Arbitrator and Sole Arbitrator.


Julia holds graduate degrees in law and business from institutions in both common law and civil law jurisdictions and has taught college and graduate-level course on international arbitration, international energy policy and project finance. Before establishing her practice as an international arbitrator, Julia had a distinguished career in legal private practice.


Julia is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a past Vice-Chair (Membership) of CIArb’s North America Branch, a Senior Lawyer at the Centre for International Legal Studies and a Member of the Panels of Arbitrators of leading US and International Arbitral Institutions. Julia is also a Member of the USCIB (US Council of International Business)
