ArbDB Member And Dispute Board Member, John Wright, Presents A Paper On Dispute Boards At The Chartered Institute Of Arbitrators’ Penang Conference

ArbDB Member, John Wright, attended a conference in Penang, Malaysia in August 2013 run by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) on the subject of ‘Arbitration: Tapping Asia’s Growth’.

John gave a paper on Dispute Boards and shared a platform with Pierre Genton, a very experienced Dispute Board Member, who is currently sitting on Dispute Boards on projects such as the Panama Canal. In making his presentation, John drew on his experience sitting on a number of Dispute Boards in Africa and Central Europe. The presentations by John and Pierre brought about a lively discussion and interaction with the audience from amongst the 300 delegates.
