Winner: University of Tehran - presented by Peter McQueen of ArbDB Chambers

The 2023 edition of the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot, hosted by Swansea University, drew to a close on Thursday July 6th 2023 after a week of Masterclasses, mooting, and networking.

There was a strong range of judges and excellent advocacy from all 17 teams who attended.

The final, held in Trinity House, was judged by Mr Justice Andrew Baker, Mr Simon Rainey KC, and Mr Paul Dean, from primary sponsors Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW).

The two finalists were from the University of Queensland and the University of Sydney, with Queensland coming out on top.
