ArbDB Chambers announces the following developments

Two of our founders, John Wright and Tony Marks, have stepped down as Directors and Shareholders of ArbDB Limited (trading as ArbDB Chambers) with effect from 31 January 2026. Tony Marks will continue his practice as a mediator and will become an Associate Member of ArbDB Chambers. 

John Wright has commenced a phased withdrawal from his third-party neutral practice, with a view to full retirement over the coming year. 

Michael Cover will continue as Chair and Director of Chambers, and Martin Poulter will remain Clerk to Chambers.

On Wednesday, 11 February 2026, ten members of Chambers attended a lunch with Tony and John to mark their retirement as Directors of ArbDB Limited and to recognise their dedication and contribution to ArbDB Chambers over the past 14 years. 

We extend our sincere thanks to Tony and John for their leadership and commitment, wish them every success in the future, and look forward to maintaining our relationship with Tony in his new capacity.
