Andrew Burr Has Accepted An Invitation To Become A Member Of ArbDB, The Arbitration, Mediation And Dispute Board Chambers

Andrew Burr has accepted an invitation to join ArbDB, the Arbitration, Mediation and Dispute Board Chambers and joins with effect from 1 June 2016.

Andrew is a Barrister and well known for his work in the areas of construction and technology. He is also an experienced arbitrator, adjudicator and mediator, having acted as adjudicator and currently acting as adjudicator in substantial adjudications in the UK. He is a TECBAR and TeCSA accredited adjudicator. Andrew also has a particular interest in dispute boards.

In arbitration, Andrew has sat as sole and party-appointed arbitrator in ICC and other arbitrations. He is on the panels of a number of leading arbitral institutions, including the Beijing Arbitration Commission and the Vilnius Court of International Arbitration. 

Andrew is a Member of the Practice and Standards Committee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Standards Commission of the International Mediation Institute in The Hague, besides being a Past Chairman of the European Branch of the CIArb. He has recently edited the Fifth Edition of Delay and Disruption in Construction Contracts (Informa Law from Routledge).
