John Abbott is a Member of ArbDB Chambers and experienced arbitrator and mediator.
John is an English Solicitor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an Accredited Mediator. He is a member of the panels of many of the major arbitral institutions around the world, including the ICC, LCIA, ArbitrateAD, DIS, BIAMC and the GCC Arbitration Council. John has been accepting appointments as arbitrator and mediator for the last 7 years and his key areas of expertise include Construction, Commercial, Sale of Goods. M&A, Shareholder and Partnership Disputes and Agency and Distribution Agreements.
John has recently been elected as a Senior Fellow of the Bali International Arbitration and Mediation Center and will be speaking at that Center at a Construction Disputes Workshop in July 2026.
